Ægir Gastropub combines local ingredients, modern cuisine, and Viking-inspired dishes in atmospheric surroundings in the heart of Flåm. Here, great flavours, craftsmanship in the kitchen, and genuine hospitality take centre stage.
Behind the large wooden doors awaits a truly unique atmosphere inspired by Norse mythology and traditional craftsmanship, centred around the iconic 9-metre-high fireplace. From signature dishes such as the Ægir Viking Plank to seasonal menus created by dedicated chefs, everything is in place for a dining experience beyond the ordinary.
For nearly two decades, Ægir Brewery has been brewing beer for the restaurant in Flåm. The combination of food and craft beer remains an essential part of the experience — bringing people together around the table in true Ægir spirit.

Ægir Beer Garden is a vibrant gathering place by the harbour, located just outside Ægir Gastropub — a welcoming outdoor venue featuring traditional wooden architecture and beautiful views of the fjord.
Here, you can enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere, simple dishes and something good in your glass from morning to evening. During the summer season, guests can also experience daily Viking shows.
