From Norse mythology to brewery in Flåm
Ægir BrewPub, part of the courtyard at Flåmsbrygga, is today one of the biggest attractions in Flåm. The style of the building is inspired by Norse mythology and the exterior is reminiscent of a stave church. Inside, you'll feel the warmth of the 9-meter-high fireplace, surrounded by dragon heads and driftwood walls. On the ground floor you'll find the pub, while the first floor is restaurant. Ægir BrewPub serves beer and food all year round. Welcome to the pub!
Ægir The brewery opened in 2007 and quickly took its place as one of the best craft breweries in Norway. Ægir The beer is world-class, and has won gold, silver and bronze medals in the "World Cup". It all started with beer, but it didn't stop there - Ægir also has its own aquavit, gin, vodka and mead.
