About Wangen Apartments
Wangen Apartments opened in 2023, and was expanded with new units in the summer of 2025. We offer a diverse selection of apartments to suit all travelers – from cozy studio apartments to spacious three-bedroom penthouses. Most have fjord views and a private balcony, so you can enjoy the spectacular scenery.
With its central location in Aurland, Wangen Apartments is an ideal base for exploring all that Fjord Norway has to offer, from the Flåm Railway and the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord to the Stegastein Viewpoint. You also have easy access to fjord cruises, RIB tours, floating saunas, hiking and cycling right from your doorstep.

transportation & travel between Flåm and Aurland
Travel between Flåm and Aurland is simple and picturesque: the two towns are less than 10 kilometers apart, and are well connected via county road E16 and the beautiful Aurlandsfjord. Here are some practical solutions for you:
Own car or rental car : You drive via E16, and the trip takes about 10–15 minutes without stopping.
Taxi or local transport : There is a local bus and fjord cruise between Flåm and Aurland several times daily.

Norway's Best offers daily ferry sailings that provide a calm and beautiful journey across the fjord.
Departures from Flåm and to Aurland (and vice versa) — times and frequency vary by season. Tickets can be booked through the Norway's Best website or via the company's booking system.
Winter transportation : Between October and March we offer our own shuttle bus solutions between Flåm and Aurland, especially convenient for guests arriving by train Flåm Details of times and prices are confirmed for each season, the shuttle can be added as an extra to your booking.
