STEGASTEIN VIEWPOINT

The Stegastein platform is located along the scenic mountain road between Aurland and Lærdal and forms part of Norway’s famous National Tourist Routes programme. The striking architectural design makes Stegastein an attraction in itself, while also offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Aurlandsfjord towards the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. The viewpoint is located just 7 kilometres from Aurland and the historic Aurland Shoe Factory, known for bringing the classic Norwegian penny loafer back into the world of fashion.
