STEGASTEIN VIEWPOINT

ENJOY PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE FJORD LANDSCAPE FROM STEGASTEIN VIEWPOINT, THE SPECTACULAR PLATFORM AT 650 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL. 

The construction is located along the mountain road between Aurland and Lærdal, and is part of the "National Tourist Routes" initiative. Stegastein as a structure is an attraction in itself, and in addition you get the best fjord view over the Aurlandsfjord towards the Nærøyfjord. The viewpoint is 7 km from Aurland and Aurland Skofabrikk, which has brought the ten-eared shoe back into fashion.
