SNOWSHOE HIKE AT STEGASTEIN VIEWPOINT
Experience the fjord from a bird’s-eye perspective with snowshoes on your feet.
The tour starts in Flåm with a drive to Aurlandsfjellet and a stop at the famous Stegastein viewpoint. The snowshoe hike begins, and the guide provides an introduction to walking on snowshoes, an excellent 'footwear' in loose snow. The unique aspects of winter along the fjord are conveyed, and you get to experience a spectacular view of the beautiful and dramatic landscape. Hot drinks are served. The tour is suitable for everyone.
Equipment: Dress warmly in wool or fleece layers, and wear warm, comfortable footwear suitable for winter conditions. Mittens and a hat are recommended.
Meeting point: Please arrive 20 minutes before departure at the FjordSafari reception, located near the Flåm Railway station. The tour both starts and ends here.
