We are happy to share some exciting news from Ægir BreweryPub!
From and including January 17, 2026, Ægir BryggeriPub is undergoing renovations, which are expected to take 8–10 weeks. The renovations will increase capacity in restaurant and pub, improve the seating arrangement and renew furniture, and expand both the bar and kitchen area — all to give you as a guest an even better experience.
During this period, the operation of Ægir BreweryPub temporarily moved to Flåmstova Restaurant You as a guest can look forward to the same menu, the same skilled chefs, and the same pleasant team.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to a newly renovated and improved Ægir Brewery Pub coming soon!

The concept - beer in and with the food - has been a success.
Ægir BrewPub is steeped in Viking history, and so are the menus. We use locally sourced ingredients - those used in Viking times, but flavored for today's palate. Ægir beer is used in marinades and sauces, and hops, malt and herbs are used to add an extra touch to the food. Ægir The brewery makes beers that are flavorful, light and dark, and that go well with everything from fish and game to chocolate.
Ægir Viking Plank is our signature dish! The unique 5-course beer and food menu pairs five locally sourced dishes with five different types of Ægir beer that complement the food. The combination is perfect!
