We are looking for you as:

  • Have experience in the service industry - preferably from a hotel / reception. You also have experience with booking systems such as Hotsoft, CityBreak and BookVisit.

  • Thriving in a hectic environment

  • Is flexible, hardworking and structured

  • Have good communication skills

  • Speaks and writes a Scandinavian language in addition to English.

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and in a good mood

  • Informal and humble – but professional

  • Works well individually – but is a team player

  • Service-minded with a "yes, we'll fix it!" attitude

  • Likes people and wants to give that "little extra" to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible with us.

As a Reception and Bookings Officer, you will have the following tasks:

  • Check-in and check-out

  • Fixed switchboard for all Flåmsbrygga

  • Sale and more sale

  • Guest service

  • Tailor hotel stays and packages for individual guests as well as events for groups

  • Booking hotel stays, events, activities and table reservations for individual guests and groups via email and telephone.

  • Preparing meeting rooms and technical equipment, as well as performing the meeting host function for meeting groups.

  • Maintain the reception's function as the heart of the company

  • Invoicing

  • Night shift must be scheduled in case of vacation or illness.

  • Work to be done
