Flåm is one of Norway's most popular travel destinations, located in the spectacular World Heritage area around the Nærøyfjord. Here you will find a wide range of activities and unforgettable experiences.

We are looking for someone who:

• Passionate about cooking

• Have relevant education and/or experience as chef

• Speaks a Scandinavian language and/or English (an advantage, but not a requirement)

• Has knowledge about food allergies and safe food handling

• Is flexible, hardworking and reliable

• Enjoys working in an informal and multicultural team

• Able to work day, evening and weekend shifts according to shift schedule

Job duties:

• Follow internal routines and procedures

• Correct handling of food, equipment and kitchen utensils

• Prepare lunch and dinner in line with the menu and guests' wishes

• Always maintain high quality and good service

• Work efficiently and accurately in busy periods

Residence

The company offers staff housing for employees. Rooms can be private or shared, depending on availability. Common areas such as kitchen, bathroom, living room and outdoor area are shared with colleagues. Living in staff housing is a social and multicultural experience.

We are therefore looking for people who are respectful, tolerant, patient and cooperative, and who enjoy sharing their home and daily routines with others.

This type of housing is best suited for those who enjoy a community-based living environment. Rent is deducted directly from salary and includes electricity, internet and bedding.
