Furukroa Café is part of Flåmsbrygga concept and serves lunch and dinner to both local and international guests throughout the year. The café is colorful, modern and welcoming, with a beautiful view of the quay and the fjord.

We are looking for someone who:

• Are over 18 years old (due to alcohol legislation)

• Speaks English and/or a Scandinavian language

• Have a strong service attitude

• Is outgoing, committed and service-oriented with a positive attitude

• Is structured, tidy and solution-oriented

• Thrives in a hectic environment and is hardworking and flexible

• Able to work day, evening and weekend shifts according to shift schedule

• Have a valid work permit in Norway (EU citizens only)

Job duties:

• Serve customers at the counter and at the cash register

• Prepare hot and cold food, sandwiches and cakes

• Cleaning, tidying up and replenishing goods

• Working with closing routines and cash settlements

Residence

The company offers staff housing for employees. Rooms can be private or shared, depending on availability. Common areas such as kitchen, bathroom, living room and outdoor area are shared with colleagues. Living in staff housing is a social and multicultural experience.

We are therefore looking for people who are respectful, tolerant, patient and cooperative, and who enjoy sharing their home and daily routines with others.

This type of housing is best suited for those who enjoy a community-based living environment. Rent is deducted directly from salary and includes electricity, internet and bedding.
