As a waiter at Flåmstova Restaurant You will be an important part of a professional and busy service team. You will work closely with restaurant management and the kitchen to ensure high quality service, good flow in daily operations and a positive working environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Are over 20 years old (due to alcohol legislation)

• Speaks English and/or a Scandinavian language

• Have a strong service attitude

• Is outgoing, committed and service-oriented with a positive attitude

• Thrives in a hectic environment and is hardworking and flexible

• Able to work day, evening and weekend shifts according to shift schedule

• Have a valid work permit in Norway (EU citizens only)

Job duties:

• Serve breakfast to hotel guests

• Serve lunch and dinner to groups and individual guests

• Working with cash register / POS system

• Manage table reservations

• Preparation and assistance at events

Residence

The company offers staff housing for employees. Rooms can be private or shared, depending on availability. Common areas such as kitchen, bathroom, living room and outdoor area are shared with colleagues. Living in staff housing is a social and multicultural experience.

We are therefore looking for people who are respectful, tolerant, patient and cooperative, and who enjoy sharing their home and daily routines with others.

This type of housing is best suited for those who enjoy a community-based living environment. Rent is deducted directly from salary and includes electricity, internet and bedding.
